Sheraton Harare Hotel and the Harare International
Conference Centre (HICC), construction of
the 5-star Rainbow Towers & Conference
Centre began in 1981, and was officially
opened in November 1985. The combined
complex – the country’s largest
hotel and meetings centre and a proud Zimbabwean
landmark - is owned and managed by the Rainbow
Tourism Group, and is the diverse tourism
giant’s flagship. Although the
youngest of Harare’s elite large hotels,
and thanks to its position adjacent to Zimbabwe’s
largest conference venue, The Rainbow Towers
Hotel has played fine host to many an international
statesman, business and leisure visitor to
Zimbabwe and Harare for over 20 years now. |
